Description
A four-day journey through Amman, Jerash, and Ajloun for Global Shapers from the Amman Hub and visiting hubs. The retreat invites participants to see Jordan through the eyes of the people who live, build, and serve in it, not as tourists. Over four days, Shapers will strengthen bonds across hubs, take part in cultural experiences led by local communities, visit social enterprises and grassroots initiatives, and share meals rooted in Jordanian hospitality. Reflection circles and small-group conversations create space to reconnect with purpose.

Return Policy
1. Cancellation by Participants Participants may cancel their registration and receive a full refund if they notify us in writing no later than 11:59 PM (Amman time, GMT+3) on Wednesday, 14 October 2026, which is 14 days before the retreat begins. Cancellations received after this deadline are not eligible for a refund. This includes cancellations due to missed flights, visa issues, illness, or changes in personal plans. 2. How to Request a Refund To cancel, email shapers.amman@gmail.com with the subject line "Retreat Cancellation – [Full Name]." Include your full name, the email address used to register, and your proof of payment. The date and time we receive your email determine whether you are eligible for a refund. 3. Refund Processing Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 business days of confirmation. Bank transfer or payment processing fees charged by third parties are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refunded amount. 4. No-Shows and Partial Attendance Participants who do not attend the retreat, or who attend only part of it, are not entitled to a full or partial refund. 5. Transfer of Registration If you can no longer attend after the refund deadline, you may transfer your place to another Global Shaper, subject to approval by the organizing team. Send transfer requests to shapers.amman@gmail.com by 21 October 2026, including the replacement participant's full name and contact details. 6. Cancellation or Changes by the Organizers If the Amman Hub cancels the retreat, all participants will receive a full refund. The organizers reserve the right to adjust the agenda, activities, or venues where necessary, and such changes do not qualify for a refund. 7. Circumstances Beyond Our Control If the retreat is disrupted or cancelled due to events beyond our control, the Amman Hub is not responsible for costs participants have incurred. These costs include flights, visas, and any independently booked accommodation. Such events include severe weather, security conditions, government restrictions, and public health emergencies. Participants are encouraged to purchase travel insurance. 8. Agreement By completing registration and payment, participants confirm that they have read and agree to this policy.
