BOOK@ is a marketplace. Cancellation rules for tickets and courses are set by the organizer or training center and are shown on each event page. If an organizer cancels an event outright, we refund you in full to your original card. Postponed events keep your ticket valid for the new date. No-shows are not refunded. Shop orders, gift cards, and courses follow the specific terms below.
This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work across BOOK@ for tickets, courses, shop products, and gift cards. By completing a purchase on bookat.net you accept the terms below together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Cancellation by attendees
Each organizer sets the cancellation window, the cancellation fee, and the refund percentage for their event. These rules are published on the event page before you complete payment, so please read them carefully.
To request a cancellation, open the booking from your dashboard and use the "Request cancellation" action. You will be asked for the booking reference, the email used at purchase, and the reason for cancellation. Requests are reviewed against the organizer's published rules. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through our processors (PayTabs or Stripe) and typically settle within seven to fourteen business days, depending on the issuing bank.
Service fees and payment processing fees are non-refundable unless the cancellation is initiated by the organizer or by BOOK@.
2. Cancellation by organizers
If an organizer cancels an event, the organizer must notify ticket holders promptly through the contact details on file. In this case BOOK@ will issue a full refund of the ticket price to the original card automatically. You do not need to file a separate request. The organizer remains responsible for any communication regarding the reason for cancellation.
3. Postponement and rescheduling
A postponed or rescheduled event is treated as a continuation of the original event. Your existing ticket remains valid for the new date and no action is required from you. If the new date does not work for you, you may request a refund through your dashboard. The request will be handled according to the organizer's published cancellation rules, with reasonable accommodation for the schedule change.
4. Material changes to an event
If the organizer makes a material change to the event after you have purchased, you may request a refund regardless of the standard cancellation window. A material change includes a change of venue to a different city, removal of the headline performer or speaker, or a change of format that substantially alters what was advertised. Requests must be submitted within seven days of the change being announced.
5. No-show
If you do not arrive at the event before the published cut-off time, you forfeit your seat and the booking is not eligible for a refund. Late arrival is treated as a no-show at the organizer's discretion.
6. Course cancellation
Courses follow cancellation windows set by the training center and shown on the course page. As a general rule, withdrawal before the course start date is refundable subject to the center's stated fee. Once a course has started, refunds are not available unless the center cancels the program. If a course is cut short by the training center, you will receive a pro-rata refund for the sessions not delivered.
7. Shop order cancellation
You may cancel a shop order free of charge at any time before it is dispatched. Once an order has been shipped, the seller's return policy applies and shipping fees are not refundable. Certain products are marked as non-cancellable once dispatched, including perishable items, personalized goods, and digital downloads that have been delivered. These restrictions are shown on the product page.
8. Gift cards
Gift card codes are not cancellable once the code has been revealed to the recipient. Unredeemed gift cards may be voided within forty-eight hours of purchase if requested by the original buyer, or at any time by BOOK@ where we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraud. Refunds for voided cards are returned to the original card.
9. How to cancel from your dashboard
- Sign in to bookat.net and open "My bookings".
- Select the booking you wish to cancel.
- Click "Request cancellation" and complete the form.
- Confirm and submit. You will receive an email acknowledgement.
- Track the status of your request from the same booking page.
10. BOOK@'s right to cancel
BOOK@ may cancel a booking or close an account where we identify fraud, payment abuse, misuse of the platform, illegal activity, or where we are required to do so by valid legal compulsion. Where the cancellation is not the fault of the attendee, we will provide notice and a full refund. Where the cancellation results from the attendee's own conduct, refund eligibility will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
